"The Past Is a School"
-Jim Rohn
As the above quote from the great success teacher, Jim Rohn, says: You learn an awful lot by examining the lessons taught to you in the past.
Here's four great lessons that I've picked up from my own "School of Life".
We'll talk about how a FAILED long-term relationship taught be some life-saving lessons.
Then we'll go on to the difference between being two kinds of people, and are you being honest with yourself on which one you are?
After that we'll get into worst kind of person to be around, how to recognize them, and how to deal with them.
Finally we'll wrap up with a discussion about how one of those old, popular phrases that we throw around can SOMETIMES be the right advice... but sometimes isn't.
Fat?
What is it good for?
Fat is one of the aspects of nutrition that has been both vilified and hailed as the greatest thing ever. We're going to sort out what fat is, the types of fat, if you need it, how much of it do you need, and what the hell do they mean by Omega-3's and "Healthy Fats"?
Today I'm going to talk some about what's going on at Relentless, our graduating senior athletes headed off to college, and one of the biggest pet peeve statements that trainers hear: "I'm going to get in shape before I join the gym"
That shit drives us NUTS.
But there's a root reason for why people say it, and that's what I delve into today.
The truth of the matter is that the same thing that makes people say that stupid shit is something that effects me, probably you, and almost everyone else that I meet. We're going to get into that thing today, dig into the root of that nasty cactus of failure, and show you how to bust that sonofabitch out of the ground.
